Don't you just love the rich, regal cobalt blue on vintage pieces of china? I sure do. The color is so deep and vibrant.
Some of these were my Mom's and some I have picked up. I know the little pitcher and the tray that the birds are sitting on are Bavarian China.
I love this old bowl because of the crazing and dark color. It must have been used alot. I like to just keep old tarnished silver spoons in it.
The birds are a cheerful reminder that Spring is not far off!

Love blue and white...and the blue of that plate is gorgeous. I am especially loving the blue and yellow birds, since bird figurines are one of the things that I collect!

I am so glad you are feeling better. Brenda had told me you were down for the count. The flu was so scary for so many this year. My MIL always called this kind of blue china "flow blue" Is that what you know it by?

Very pretty pieces-- I think the well used ones are even more charming!
Just love the blue and white China. I used to collect miniature blue and white pieces...I have salt and pepper, vases, figurines...now due to lack of space I have had to stop collecting them...just admire them.
